Artist choreographer, dancer, comedian and clown
  • doc. Mgr. MgA. Pierre Nadaud Ph.D. born on 3 January 1971 in Dijon, France, two children.
  • Artist choreographer, dancer, comedian and clown, competent in the field of choreography and physical theatre, author of more than fifty pieces combining strong poetics and layered dramatic conception. https://www.youtube.com/@pierrenadaud4513
  • University teacher, workshop leader, coach, mentor specialized in choreographic and devised creation and actor training (comedy and clowning).
  • Creator of elaborated artistic educational projects and coordinator of teacher’s teams. Used to carry out projects with many types of institutional partners.
  • At present focuses on the practice of facilitating artistic collective work, on eurythmy and on teaching actors in the field of commedia dell’arte, acting and clowning.
Ateliér fyzického divadla – Devised and Physical Theatre Studio
  • Head of Physical Theatre Department since 2008, Theatre Faculty, Academy Janáček (Brno, Czech Republic). The Theatre Faculty is part of the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. Its role is covered in three major areas – pedagogical, artistic and academic.
Head of Physical Theatre Studio
  • Created the course program for the bachelor’s degree in physical theatre (2008) and the Master in physical theatre (2018) for DF JAMU in Brno.
  • Production of performances created with students and leaded by internationally renowned artists: Karine Ponties, Nicole Mossoux and Patrick Bonté, Daniel Gulko, Dominique Boivin, Andrej Kalinka, Ionana Popovici. (Award-winning shows: first prize for the play and first prize for male interpretation for The Amnesic days of Polar Nights by Ionana Popovici at the FIST 05 festival in Beograd in 2010 – nomination as best show of the year 2012 for Pisum Sativum by Karine Ponties at the festival Tanec Praha – first prize for male interpretation for Clown’s Crumbs by Pierre Nadaud at the Roma Teatro Festival in 2013.)
  • Teaches in czech, english and French langage movement training for actors and dancers, choreographic creation, commedia dell’arte / comedy, clowning, and coaches student’s works degree.
  • Organiser of masterclasses and workshops led by internationally renowned artists and teachers: Carlo Boso, Ami Hattab, Jos Houben, Karine Ponties, Daniel Gulko, Heinzi Lorenzen…
  • Fonder member of the International Platform for Commedia dell’arte bringing together the Escola Superior de Arte Dramática de Galicia (ESADg), the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG) and the Theater Faculty of JAMU. Carlo Boso, director of the École Supérieure Internationale d’Arts Dramatiques de la ville de Versailles is the mentor of this platform.

  • 2002-2012 Director of Dance and physical Theatre Company 2002 – Company Mamacallas (Prague, Czech Republic). The Mamacallas Company is devoted to the production of dance and physical theatre pieces. The company involved more than 30 artists of 10 different nationalities in its works. Creation of choreographic and Physical Theatre works: conception, direction and performing. Took part to the production of the performances, PR, fundraising and coordination of artistic teams. Creations realized as part of artistic residencies and which toured in 12 countries.
