Bachelor’s Degree
The BA in Audiovisual Production and Theatre develops artistic, technological and dramaturgical thinking in connection with theatre and film production. You will learn to understand the audiovisual medium as a distinctive creative tool that expands the possibilities of theatrical expression and documentation. The course focuses on four main areas:
- audiovisual creation and technology as part of a theatrical event (scenography, performance, light design),
- photography and working with still images as the artistic basis for dramatic and film production,
- creation of audiovisual documentation of theatre – from journalism to various types of recording,
- the art of adapting a theatrical work to film and vice versa.
Graduate employment
Graduates are prepared for work in the field of audiovisual production, photography and theatre documentation. They can work as directors, editors or cameramen in television studios, as independent photographers in the documentary and theatre field or as independent audiovisual creators working with theatres and cultural institutions.

The studio encourages creative experimentation, interdisciplinary collaboration and independent artistic expression. You’ll combine visual, technological and dramatic elements in interactive projects and develop the skills to reflect and present your own work.
Goal of study
The aim of the Bachelor’s degree is to equip students with professional technical and technological skills as well as theoretical knowledge that will enable them to develop audiovisual and multimedia production in connection with the dramatic arts. The study emphasizes the development of authorial thinking, collaboration skills and the integration of theatrical and cinematic language.
